Tennis in the Parks
Tennis in the Park and partners team up with local organizations to provide ideas and resources to build better tennis programs in public parks and recreation centers across the United States. All resources are free to eligible agencies that are committed to the growth and development of local tennis programs.
Program and Facility Resources
The USTA provides a large number of different programs that you can provide at your local facilities. For all ages there are quick start programs, workshops and a variety of different leagues that you can provide to your community. The USTA also provides facility resources to fund construction projects that may need to be funded at your facilities.
Work With Your Local CTA
About 70 percent of all tennis is played on a public-park court. If you do want to get your own public park program started working with your local CTA would be ideal. Working with your local CTA will open your program up to a wide variety of sources that may have not of been obtainable without the help of your local CTA.
Support Local Programs
If you don’t want to start your own local program or you want to help other programs around the nation, become a USTA Organizational Member. For as low as $35 a year you can support tennis programs all around the United States to buy equipment and fund projects at their facilities. This small subscription also goes to paying grants and scholarships for young players to make their way through college.
