• Get the right size equipment for your kids. Smaller courts, shorter racquets and balls that bounce lower – it’s easier and more fun for kids to play tennis with equipment sized right for age and ability.
• Be a coach or helper. Learn to coach 10 and Under Tennis, or volunteer to help out your child’s team or tennis club in other ways.
• Keep it fun! Kids will model your behavior, so be patient and encouraging. Reward successes. Smile, have fun and be positive in tone and body language.
• Monitor their tennis experience. Make sure your child is playing tennis in a positive environment with an enthusiastic and supportive coach.
